Post-Apocalyptic Tennessee Flag by Rarayn Post-Apocalyptic Tennessee Flag by Rarayn
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Commentary:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This flag was requested by ~Nekromans, who wanted a flag for a "post-apocalyptic state based in the Tennessee Valley, run by what used to be the United States Military."

I am told that it ended up as sort of a neo-feudalistic state dominated by the descendants of US military officials and of the state governments. Consult ~Nekromans for further details if you are interested.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Symbology:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The hoist and circle of stars are from the flag of Tennessee. Originally, what was the hoist on this flag was on the right side of the Tennessee flag, but I figured this would look better. The circle with stars originally only had three stars, but I changed it to the US Army General Insignia. (Which gets bonus points for also including the Pentagon.)

The stripes are, of course, from the original US flag. I am assuming that even a US successor state that has renounced its claims of being the legitimate USA would keep them around.

Fascinating idea, to be sure. Though there's a whiff of the Enclave on this, albeit more Southern.

The Enclave is kind of like the godfather of all post-apocalyptic Americas of this kind, so that's hardly a surprise.
