As requested by *mdc01957, a map of Europe as it was in the year 2011 in the 1983: Doomsday universe. Since Doomsday is actually a collaborative AH project, there were a lot of conflicting wiki pages and maps, so some borders might be off, some countries may be missing and some countries that shouldn't be there are. What can you do, eh?
Anyway, for those of you who don't know what Doomsday is, I suggest you check out the wiki page for the project. [link]
(tl;dr version; Nuclear holocaust in 1983, everything goes to hell.)
I tried going for a somewhat modern and realistic style for this map. Don't know if I pulled it off though. Modern political maps aren't really designed with this amount of Balkanization and empty space in mind. It also seems to have some of that Neo-Victorian vibe many of us tend to succumb to when making maps. >_>
Nope, and considering how much of a pain it was to do this one, I can't see myself doing any new continent-spanning Doomsday maps in the future, sorry. n_n'
i´m not sure how do its translate in lets say spanish.
I don't know any other languages than English and Norwegian though, so I wouldn't know.
